Your bio: Julie moved to Redding in 1989 with her husband and two baby boys. Her sons are now grown and married and she has four grandchildren.
Julie has a bachelor’s degree in genetics from UC Davis, a bachelor’s in nursing from CSUS and a master’s in nursing from UCLA. 
She has worked as a family nurse practitioner in the community for 27 years in a variety of settings. She currently works in private family practice, and her passion is to bring wholeness and health to her patients.
Julie is a graduate of Leadership Redding, and is a founding member and serves on the board of her local professional organization, as well as the board of Advance Redding and the City of Redding Community Development Advisory Committee. She is currently running for Redding City Council.
Julie is a Rosarian, and loves gardening, cooking and travel.
“I have a deep appreciation for the work of The Women’s Fund, and believe the women in our community are an untapped resource that have the potential to change the future of our city for generations to come,” she said.
