Your bio: Ashlee holds a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration from California State University, Sacramento, and a master’s degree in communications and leadership from Gonzaga University.

As a veteran of the U.S. Army, Ashlee is no stranger to Screen Shot 2016-03-20 at 8.04.25 PMcommunity service and a strong work ethic. Ashlee’s philosophy of “leading by giving” has been the catalyst for numerous projects she has developed, one of which is her nonprofit Launchpad 4 Kids Inc. The website,, is dedicated to micro-philanthropy through crowdfunding. The organization facilitates sponsorship for children between the ages of 3-17 who are from underprivileged and at-risk environments. Launchpad helps kids gain experience in extracurricular activities through one-to-one giving.

Ashlee is also the host and creator of a local TV show on the Public Broadcast Station KIXE, Channel 9, in Redding. “The Forum” launched in April 2013 and features interesting people doing interesting things in the North State.

For the past four years, Ashlee has owned her business, CREATE PR, a public relations consultancy and is now focusing her attention on her most recent projects.

She enjoys spending her time launching her own little rockets, who are 9 and 6, with her husband, Randy. Reading, gardening and entertaining are some of  her favorite things to do in her spare time.
